Welcome to 0xY Blog - My Journey in Cryptography and Systems
Table of Contents
Hey there! Welcome to 0xY Blog#
Finally set up this blog to document some projects and share what I’m learning. I’m a network engineer, and lately I’ve been getting into more of the math and theory behind security systems.
What you’ll find here#
I tend to work on projects that span cryptography, network analysis, and sometimes ML applications. You’ll probably see:
Cryptography implementations - From basic symmetric encryption to more complex schemes like homomorphic encryption. I recently did a project on FHE for school that turned out way more interesting than expected.
Network security stuff - How crypto theory actually works in real systems, traffic analysis, intrusion detection.
Code and experiments - Learning by implementing things, even when my code isn’t optimized (like that graph-based encryption project).
My approach#
I’m documenting what I learn here, including the mistakes and dead ends. If you spot errors or have better approaches, feel free to reach out.
Currently working on some projects around homomorphic encryption applications, network security automation, and trying to understand how post-quantum cryptography will actually be deployed in existing infrastructure.
Let’s connect#
If you’re into similar stuff - whether you’re a fellow engineer, researcher, or just curious about where math meets practical systems - I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to my corner of the internet where theory meets practice (and sometimes crashes spectacularly).
P.S. - You’ll notice I use disclaimers a lot. I’d rather be honest about what I’m still learning than pretend to know everything.
